COVID-19 Infos

Surfing during the COVID-19 pandemic

Despite the Corona-pandemic we can guarantee for a relaxed and safe stay in our surfcamp.

We always fully adhere to the legal requirements which can lead to restrictions in the services provided by the surf camp. If the use of the basic services (surfing, eating, sleeping) is not impaired, there is no entitlement to any kind of reimbursement.

Morocco

Entry/Arrival

On September, 30st, 2022, all restrictions and requirements for travellers entering Morocco were lifted!

Mask

In the camp itself there is no mask requirement for people without health-issues/symtpoms.

Keep distance

Please always remember that the safest way to avoid an infection is to keep a minimum distance of 1.5 meters. It is also imperative that you keep your distance from your roommates, do not sit on someone else’s beds, do not share things that are intended for your personal use.

Hand hygiene

Please wash your hands regularly with soap for at least 30 seconds. Please also keep in mind that the virus can stick to different surfaces. To be on the safe side, you should for example operate door handles with your elbow. If contact with potentially contaminated surfaces cannot be avoided, it is advisable to wash or disinfect your hands immediately afterwards.

Ventilation

We ensure that there is adequate ventilation in the common areas at all times. Because like other pathogens, SARS-CoV-2 is especially transmitted through the air we breathe. The concentration of potentially contagious aerosols can be reduced through regular ventilation and the risk of infection can be reduced considerably.

Suspected Case

Should you develop symptoms such as cough, fever, runny nose, disturbance of the sense of smell and / or taste or the like during your stay, then of course we will help you.

  • Let us know immediately. Preferably by phone or Whatsapp on 00212 616 226 439  (Kiskis) or 0034 693 498 929 (Peter).
  • Avoid contact with other people
  • Upon request, we can organize a separate accommodation for you – additional costs cannot be covered by us though
  • Upon request we organize a doctor or a transport to a doctor or a test station (additional costs cannot be covered by us though)

Important: In case you booked your stay in one of our shared accommodation options and you or one of your room-mates is COVID positive or develops symptoms, we cannot provide you with a separate accommodation. It’s up to you if you want to cancel your stay in this case and leave the camp but keep in mind that since May 2022 the Spanish legislation does not stipulate reimbursement of cost in this case anymore. So there is no entitlement for compensation.
